Well today I went and bought a new headset, I was on a tight budget so I went for the turtle beach x-ones. I have used them for a few hours and can honestly say I don't know how I managed with none before.
just letting you all know they are a great piece of kit for the price(£50). Also it said wired on the box, to me this meant wires from the TVs/Xbox , I was so glad to find that it was just a single wire from the Xbox controller.

The game gets so much more fun when you add the ability to talk to team mates. I'm running a cheap turtle beach set as well and I e never had anyone complain about the quality. The technology has gone a long way and it's pretty affordable now.
Sound whoring is absolutely amazing.
ive had turtle beach x12s for about three years now and they are incredible.
just hearing more of the little things in game vastly improves your gameplay; especially if you have fine attention to detail.
