THE BUZZ: EA and DICE have released a new trailer for Battlefield 3, detailing the rent a server feature which has been added in the latest patch.
The patch, now live on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, allows users to rent their own servers, for a small fee, and customize every element of it such as maps, HUD, mini-map and much more.
EGM’s TAKE: This is the first time in Battlefield history that console players have been able to rent their own servers, a feature usually exclusive to PC versions. This opens a lot of opportunities for players to have some fun while playing, to create their own game modes and record new footage of crazy stunts.
