Bungie Says Goodbye to HaloLevel 15

    by Andrew Goldfarb

Today, the Halo franchise completed its transition from original developer Bungie to 343 Industries. As previously announced, Bungie will no longer update stats or service records, host user generated content, or operate Bungie Pro through Bungie.net as of today.

Bungie previously confirmed that historical Halo data would remain on Bungie.net "for as long as the Internet and Bungie's data storage systems remain functional," and in order to make that happen, they've put a stunning amount of statistics in one spot. As the company's official goodbye, a gigantic infographic has been added to the site's Stats section. The graphic contains information on the number of matches played, the number of kills and even the amount of combined years Halo fans have spent playing the franchise's previous games.

Check out the full image below, and be sure to share your favorite Halo memory in the comments.

I'm looking forward to seeing what changes 343 make to halo. Its so sad to me that bungie is saying bye to halo though because I grew up playing halo. It was the very first game I played on xbox live. I'll always support bungie because they are a great company and are more involved with their fans and players than any other game company.

Yeah I agree, even though I didn't play Halo much after Halo 2 online I have to agree that Bungie did interact a lot with its fans, I am very curious to see what is going to happen now.
