    Looking for a spotter

Since I will be sniping for the majority I feel that it is imperative that I find a spotter who can follow my movements stealthily. Prefer a silenced rifleman with also a tube attachment and a jav. launcher that I can call out shots for. Blind eye and Assassin are a must. Let me know if you are interested thanks!

Just a helpful hint- Theres no need to keep a teammate spotting you while you snipe in MW3. Almost every map is medium to small in size, the only advantage for sniping is certain sightlines. You can replace your "spotter" with a claymore/motion sensor and a machine pistol to keep yourself safe in close quarter situations. No need to take a whole teammate to watch your ass and having a "spotter" would also take away kills since you and your spotter will most likely be vying for the same kills. Also, having a "spotter" with a javelin would give away your position every time that "spotter" fired the javelin. Use a silenced MP9 while moving between points and let your teammate use their abilities to take out different targets than the ones you're going for. A "spotter" would only be useful on LARGE maps, like the ones you can see in Battlefield.

You must not snipe very often, or at least may be ignorant as to how it SHOULD be done. The spotter isn't supposed to be next to you, or of course you would be spotted. He's someone that watches the opposite side you are and is at a suitable distance away that way the jav. doesn't expose anyone but the enemy who will scurry away if they think they are in danger of being hit. Being the sniper I would then take them out. With a quality sniper team (spotter included) you wouldn't need explosives and you could make the map as big or as small as you wish.

    Re: Looking for a spotter

I don't think I ever got gratefulDUBS to buy into the importance of a spotter when he was with the Clan. Now what I am going to say is not to insult you DUBS but rather to make you understand the concept of teamplay and teamwork.

During the time you were a part of CAG the first time, you started out good and you gave the impression to all of us that you were able to adapt to our playstyle. As time went by you put personal goals, achievements and most of all yourself above and ahead of the Clan.

I have said it time and time again and even to new recruits and members, if you are too worried about personal scores, achievements and goals then CAG is not the right Clan for you. I don't care if I have only 3 or 4 kills in a game as long as we won and my deaths were not the reason for a loss.

You justified in your comment "No need to take a whole teammate to watch your ass and having a "spotter" would also take away kills since you and your spotter will most likely be vying for the same kills." what I said about "You" putting your personal stats ahead of the Clan.

Since these are just video games, a "Spotter" is and plays a different role in games. If you remember DUBS how we set up in "Jungle" on Black Ops in the Ruins you would remember how the "Spotter" worked since you were mostly our "Spotter" when you looked into the village from you spot behind me and KaptKoon.

This is why it is so hard to keep Clan members because everyone is just out for themselves instead of playing as a Clan. Since we are not a sponsored Clan and we do not offer anything in return for being a member of CAG people have no incentives to stay.

Ignorance is very evident in your post DUBS, I know you mean well but comments like yours discourage new members from becoming team players for us. Now CLOWN is not someone that will be easily discouraged by your comments as you can tell from his response to your post, but others might.

To everyone who reads the posts in this thread, we strongly emphasize teamwork in the Clan. This type of initiative that CLOWN is demonstrating, posting a thread asking for interested "Spotters" to contact him is what we are looking for in our members.

We work better in pairs and more so as a team. Anyone who has played with me in the past knows that I never worry about my backside or flanks because I have complete trust in my team mates. I am probably the most selective shooter you will ever see. If I don't have a shot on the enemy, I will call out general area and have someone who has a better shot take care of them. This is the main idea behind a spotter.

It's just the way I see it Clown. DUBS is a very good player, but I lost him somewhere along the way. It's too bad because he was a very good asset to the Clan when he was a team player.
