    Machine Gunning for Dummies.

Yesterday I played some TDM and noticed that alot of the guys were not using LMG's to play
So I decided that I was going to use only the Type88 or the M249 and set up some places to catch fools slipping.

I was playing the Mine ( Cannot remember the name of it ) and Set up shop in one of the Corrugated buildings next to one of the Tonka Trucks.

A buddy of mine planted some C4 on a wall that was in My line of sight and blew out a big enough hole that I could see incoming Enemies.

Laying Prone with the Bipod deployed I was able to take out 5 tangos and spot 4 more with no fear of anybody sneaking on My 6 and taking me out. Also I was fairly confident that My Kill Cam did not show much due to all Corrugated buildings looking the same.

The point I am trying to make here is that you do not always have to be a sniper or an engineer or assault to get things done. Do not underestimate the power of that LMG and its usefulness to your Squad.

    Keep em flyin downrange

Burst Fire is key. As any real life Squad gunner will tell you if you lay that trigger finger down too hard you are just wasting ammo and jarring your fuckin teeth out.

Between 3 and 5 second burst fire is essential unless you are using your bipod then you can go a wee bit longer.

Vertical Muzzle climb is a bitch so keep some light downward pressure on your stick to compensate for this.

Human nature is to keep your sights on a dead enemy for a moment. DO NOT DO THIS! That enemy is dead and is no longer a threat.. Kill the enemy and find another one to kill

Sometimes being entrenched is the way to go if you have alot of good covering teammates but alot of times you will find yourself watching a particular sector with other teammates covering other sectors.
Do not be afraid to displace yourself after taking down 2 or 3 enemies. But always remember to tell the squad leader and other team members when so they can offer covering fire and tell them where your final destination is going to be so everybody knows.

Keep your fire directed where everybody is firing my little darlings..
