How to Squad Up!

I also found this on how to Squad Up the right way. Using this method to Squad up will guarantee that you and all your friends or even your Platoon end up in the same team. Try it out it works!

Dear everyone!



We have received many questions on how to join the servers with your squad on Xbox 360 and PS3, therefore we decided to post this guide.



In the first screenshot right here, you can see what your user interface looks like with friends online.







If you do have friends on your list that are currently online, you can now start forming a squad by sending invites to your friends.






When you have done so and your friends have accepted your squad invite, their highlighted boxes will be in green which means that you are now in a squad and ready to join the server as a squad.



Go into the Server Browser and pick a server you would like to play on. A good piece of advice is to pick a server that is not completely full. To be on the safe side, pick a server that has 16/24 on them since they fill up quite fast.







When you are finally in-game, (note that the screenshot was taken on an empty server) you are ready to own it up .

I've done it this was and still ended up on opposite teams, but I bet it was because the server was almost full so it made the teams even.

Yeah the thing to do is to find a server with more open slots than you have members. It is always better to join a server that has 10-15 players.

It it still hit or miss, that is the only thing that is holding me back from playing BF3 on a daily basis. I love the game, everything about it is superior to MW3 except the squading up.

It has always been that way with joining squads though, I am talking about getting in the same game altogether, it is the worst set up ever by any game, almost if not as bad as Homefront's squading system.

I actually liked Homefront too, more so than MW3. These games have a better hit detection that MW3 will ever have. It really amazes me how bad MW3 , well how bad COD games are. As popular as they are, they are only really games for the casual gamers not the hardcore.

Yep, it's a big problem. Especially with BF3 not having Private Matches. I've joined a couple games where everyone suddenly quit because they wanted a clan match and I joined before the final player did.
Of course the best thing to do in that case is to coordinate and find a completely empty server and have both full squads join at the same time (and if you're playing something other than squad rush it has to be in unison as well)

I get lucky sometimes and end up with my squad on the same team but most of the time it's me versus them (and they get pissed).

It's an epic fail, this is what ruined Homefront, that game had potential and they never fixed the squading and voice system. What those games don't have MW3 does and vise versa, pisses me off!

I like what Homefront could have been. The story didn't mesh right with me, the multiplayer was fun for a bit then it got boring (and frustrating). I just wasn't much of a fan of it. Still have it in my game closet (as one of those must-haves) but I don't play it anymore.

Yeah, they really fucked that game up. I love how the games with the best hit detection are the games that fall short. Instead the COD series you can shoot someone 2 feet away from their body or head and still get a hill where as in Homefront and BF3 you need to be dead on to kill someone.
