Ranking The Top 10 NFL fan bases

Lets do some Fan Ranking shall we?

1. Steelers- This one was a tough one, between the Steelers and the Packers. Both great fan bases, but the Steelers barely got this one.

2. Packers- Small town, big team. Loyal fans, always their at the game even when its freezing.

3. Browns- If you didnt think that the Browns are my 3rd rank, let me tell you that Cleveland is a great sports city. They have very loyal fans, even though their teams havent been so successful over the years, they have continued supporting their teams. Good job Cleveland.

4. Eagles- Sorry, probably the most selfish fans in the NFL. And sometimes the most annoying, but they are loyal and considered one of the most rabid in the nfl.

5. Patriots- Boston sports city, loyal fans. Celtics, Bruins, Redsox, how do you not like this team?

6. Cowboys- Americas Team? Whether or not you believe that, you cant disagree that they have a great fan base. They have one of the best, and most beutiful stadiums in the NFL, and that makes the game more enjoyable.

7. Raiders- Crazy fans! Very loyal, and they think that its halloween every game! Ive been to a few raiders games, I wouldnt reccommend wearing anything other then Raiders gear... xD

8. Redskins- Their ya go cheechdog. The redskins rank as the 8th on my list. Maybe not as vocal as the Eagles fans, but they are very faithful during hard times.

9 Bears- If you live in Chicago, you have to be crazy not to root for the Bears. Great history, one word, Walter Peyton.

10. Giants- Jets vs Giants a great rivalry. But the Giants have the majority of popularity in New York because of the success in the recent years. Giants fans seem to be quite loud throughout the game.

And of course, here are my honorable mentions hehe XD
Broncos- This is traditionally one of the stronger fan bases in the NFL. The magic of old Mile High may be gone, but Broncos fans brave varying degrees of football weather to cheer the Broncos season after season.

Colts- Since they moved to Lucas Oil, should you know they used to be in the RCA dome which produced much noise. So far this year, the Colts fans are doing a good job putting up without Manning, and I think they're a strong fanbase.

I find it upsetting that I don't see the 49ers fans on this list. The Raiders? Really? Maybe as top ten most violent fans. On a personal level the only Niners games I've been to were when they were going 5 and 11 and 6 and 10. As a Sacramento Kings fan I understand what it means to be loyal.

And of course you cant leave out Cin City.. Yeah thats right baby the JUNGLE!!! The nasty natti Thats right Im talking about the Bengals!

Whether you love us or hate us You cant deny that Cin City pride.
So on Gameday if your not at Paul Brown take your rear end to the Montgomery Inn and have some Ribs or on over to Goldstar Chili or Skyline Chili and get a 5 way and two cheese Coneys

And always remember WHODEY!!!

I do agree, living in the Bay area I find 49ers fans very loyal. But Im taking many factors here. Im taking: How well the teams fans travel, how vocal they are, how loyal (the 49ers are very loyal), and hatred.

The Bengal fans deserve to be at the top of the list instead of Patriot, Dallas and Steeler fans for many reasons.

These teams are corporate teams, teams that only band wagon fans jump on if they are doing good. No one cared about Patriots till Brady came along and all of the sudden everyone is a Patriots fan.

In Pittsburgh and Dallas, those fans are only strong when they are winning, but if they have one losing season you see how they really are.

Teams like the Redskins, Packers, Bears, Giants have the most loyal fans. These teams have been sold out for the last 45 plus years, the Giants have never had a game blacked out and the Skins have a waiting list of over 20 years just to get 1 season ticket.

The Bengals have some of the strongest and most loyal fans out there. To have had as many losing seasons as they have had, I am surprised to see as many fans in the stands every Sunday.

The 49rs have a hardcore fan base as well. After being a dynasty in the 80s and 90s and then falling off in the late 90s and early 2000s, their fan base is still as strong. I am not going to put a 1 through 10 list of the fan bases because it is not easy to do, but to have the Patriots in the top 10 is a joke.

The through fan bases come from teams that even though they have losing seasons, their fans are still out there. Those teams are the Redskins, Raiders, Bengals, Browns, Jets, 49rs, Giants, those teams are have the best fans of all.

Philly is the worst sports city in the country I work in that shithole all the time theyblame everything around them for their teams doing bad and they spend more time making opposing teams fans uncomfortable then they do watching the game

Packers fans have a reason to be hardcore when it comes to their football team.

I know two or three " Owners " Of the green bay packers. At one time the team sold shares for like 200 bucks a pop to its community and that is just awesome that these people have certificates of ownership and have a say in the way their franchise is ran.

Bengal fans are so tight knit and strong due to the Players being so kind and reachable by the public.
Until here recently it would be nothing to be sitting at a diner and have Chad Johnson walk in and buy everybody dinner.. Icky Woods now owns a meat packing business out of Hamilton... When I was a kid I got my leg broke playing football with buddies and Boomer Esiason signed My cast because he was passing through to do some charity work at Cinci Childrens.

They live in the area they support the area and you see them out and about.

And I do not care where you are if your a Bengals Fan you will never meet a stranger. Especially on Game
day.
