I think that Washington can beat Philly, the supposed (dream team) isn't doing so good lol.
I agree, the blowout game will be Rams vs Packers.

Good stuff Knockers...I think the Lions will remain undefeated, they are on a roll right now, Megatron is just kicking every corners ass and the defense is just nasty.

I look for the Texans to beat the Ravens and Vikings to beat the Bears as well.

I think the biggest surprise will be Rams beating the pEckers, contrary to popular belief, Rodgers to me has look average, his WRs are the ones bailing him out.

Vikings to beat da Bears? That will be a hard one. All the Vikings need to beat them, is if the O-Line falls apart. The Rams beating the Packers?

Donovan Mcnabb has 849 Yards this year, so far with an 80 QB Rating. Jay Cutler has 1,209 Yards with and 82.7 Rating.
The Bears stats are pretty surprising to me, 23rd in passing yards, and 23rd in total of Yards so far this season. Now their r 21 - 55 - 9 on First Downs. 28 - 65 - 7 Against Opposing teams. Jay Cutler has been sacked 19 times, while the Bears have sacked a QB 8 times this year. Now, the vikings are 3rd in total rush yards, 31st in total passing yards, and 24th in total points. 40 - 44 - 4 on first downs. Now this comes out pretty even, but Jay Cutler is a better all around QB do ya think?

    Re: Weekly Surprise

Cutler is not a starting caliber quarter just like mcNapps isn't either.

Both of their starting days have passed them buy. Whether its due to injuries or just mental instability, both of them are not able to play the game like they once did.

Cutler was never really a good starting qb that is why the broncos decided to trade him. He is exactly like Marino and Elway in their early careers. Neither of them wanted to share the spotlight with a "RUNNING BACK" and wanted the team to be "theirs". Until Elway got his head out of his asshole and allowed Terrell Davis to be the main guy, the Broncos sucked ass.

McNapps I think is still not recovered from all the injuries he had at Philly. Throw in the fact that his mental toughness was destroyed in the Super Bowl, he is not a starting quarter anymore. He can no longer run like he did, that was his strength, running bootlegs or waiting to see if anyone was open and taking off for some yards or the first down.

This league is not what it was 5 years ago. The players are just getting bigger , faster and stronger. Scrambling quarters where disappearing from the game but McNapps and Vick changed it. This league is about a quarter being able to stand in the pocket and delivering the ball on time.

It is no longer a passing league contrary to popular belief. The NFL wants to change that and they have tried for years. Not since the days of Air Coryell with the Chargers has the league been able to really accomplish that. Every year the NFL makes up a new rule to help out the offense turn into a passing league but the players fight it off one way or another.

The NFL was invented and created to run with the ball, similar to rugby. Players have more fun when they are hitting each other instead of having to run after someone who just doesn't have the ball and trying to prevent them from catching the ball in the air.

Unless you have a good Qb and Wr tandem, the game is meant to be played using the rushing game. Qbs have to be unselfish and allow Rbs to also be stars. Right now we have Peterson on the Vikings who is suffering from all this, Steven Jackson with the Rams as well.

Rbs dominate games if given a chance, it is harder to dominate a game passing the ball unless you have a Qb like Peyton or Brady. But even then, the Wrs they have are hybrid rbs playing Wr. They are good once they get the ball in their hands, they can make tacklers miss, they sometimes even run over the defenders.

So that is what i think, Cutler is not an better all around Qb in my opinion. He lacks so much and what he has is not good enough to take over a game.

    Re: Weekly Surprise

Contrary to popular belief, Cutler is not a bad quarterback.. He has the skills, hes arguably the toughest qb in the game, but he is not given the tools that he needs (ANY qb needs) to succeed. He has no wideouts, he has a garbage o-line. Switch Cutler with Rodgers or Brady and I think it would be a whole different outlook. Everyone outside of Chicago thinks that Cutler is a pussy ass garbage qb. Media prejudice. Hes only 28. Kids got skills. I'll be behind Cutler as long as he is a Bear, the rest of the team sucks. There are three main things that the Bears have that should not be changed. A qb with sensational skills if he is given the opportunity to show it (which he did at times in the game on Monday), A top tier running back in Matt Forte, and a special teams that is rivaled by NONE (podlesh boots the shit out of the ball, gould is GOLD, and hester is a legend in the return game/potential hall of famer.) Everything else on the team needs changes, in my opinion.

McNabb is just old and terrible. His years in the NFL are over
