Hello to all!

Just following instructions and following up with an introduction...

I'm from Canada and I'm 25 years old, gaming on the EST time zone. I used to play pro many years ago (on the original Xbox) and was sponsored by an employee from NVIDIA who managed our clan and website at the time. I gave console gaming a break at some point because of a lack of interest (crappy games) but have returned for Battlefield 3. I'm doing pretty well coming back from retirement (but could do better) and I would like to take part in something semi-serious but not pro at this point in time. I might look at something pro much later on but it's pretty stressful stuff and I'm not sure I'm ready to take that on when I much rather play and have fun with a cool group of guys.

I actually like the fact that there is a recruitment process since it outlines dedication on behalf of the members. It also sets the clan apart from the other platoons on Battlelog that are pretty much open to any Tom, Dick and Harry which is no different than playing any random game on Xbox live with a bunch of random players found through Quickmatch.

Oh, and I'm also quite the joker. I just decided to wear my suit and tie for this intro, serious face included.

I want to welcome you to CAGCLAN.com our Home and Headquarters. I am glad you like the recruitment process we have in place. We have chosen to use this process in order to help us pick the best possible members for our Clan.

As you might of already seen on the Battlelog forums, I have already come across one idiot who tried to criticize our recruitment process. Like you said, we do not want to be like everu other Platoon on Battlelog who allow any "Tom, Dick and Harry" into the Clan.

Although we are not a Clan that is into competition, tournaments or playing Pro right now, it is something we have been talking about in the past for our Clan.

It takes a lot of hard work and dedication from everyone in the Clan not just the Leader (Me) or its Co-Leaders (Generals, Captains and so on).

To answer your questions...

1. I heard about CAG from the Battlelog recruitment forums (after heavy filtering).

2. I play on the PC, PS3, and 360. I currently own Battlefield 3 on both the PC and 360, but my primary platform appears to be the 360 just because it works for me on a social level (my friends are there).

3. I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada

4. My GT is VENOM OF SINS and it's pretty much universal across all platforms (just in case CAG is a multi-platform clan)

5. Best time to setup a date with a D.I. is on weekends or after 4:30pm on weekdays. You ready IRONVALOR? :woohoo:
