I usually play more before my son gets home from school, that is at 2 pm pacific time, and i play from like midnights to when ever i go to bed.

Ryan welcome to the Family buddy. I't was good playing with you last night. With time we will get you situated and you will learn which spots and maps you can go to so you can make use of your sniper abilities.
I recommend you start looking for someone that you can pair of with so he can be your spotter. It will make you that much better of a sniper having someone working with you and watching your back. If we are in games together I will pair with you myself.
