THANK YOU FLORIDA AND KENTUCKY!!!! Florida and Kentucky are now the first states that will require drug testing when applying for welfare, effective July 1st! Some people are crying this is unconstitutional. How is this unconstitutional? It's OK to drug test the people who work for their money but not those who don't ? Re-post if you want ALL states to do this!

About fricking time. To many many people get welfare but are on drugs hardcore, exceptionally in my area. I'm really glad to see this happening, I hope it happens in Tennessee soon.

Yeah Reaper, the people that really need it don't get it, those that get it use it on drugs most of the times or on stupid shit and don't use it to better themselves.
This is long overdue and I hope all States implement this really soon, it "could" help out our economy a lot.
So what happens if you get found using drugs does the government step in and offer counseling at our expense which cost$$ and if they lose there benefits will they turn to crime that affect you and me and what about the children do they lose their food good Idea but they must take all factors into consideration Just my thoughts .
Very good questions Stormy and I would honestly like to know what the answers to those are.
