Most of you are probably already aware that Gdubs and KaptKoon are no long with CAG. Huge differences between them and I proved too much for us to co-exist together as Co-Leaders. Despite our many similar points of view and understandings of what we wanted for the Clan, we had too many disagreements. In the end our differences proved stronger.
This however should not be seen as a sign of bad things to come to anyone in the Clan. Although it might seem that way, sometimes changes have to be made even though it might not seem like they should at first. I understand Gdubs and KaptKoon were very popular amongst all of us and I really do hate to see them go, but in the end it was their decision and that is what they chose to do.
As a Clan you are obligated to follow rules and as Leaders you are even more obligated and responsible to make sure others follow them. Our rules should never be questioned and or violated. Yes, I have asked and I do encourage everyone to post their suggestions and or opinions on the forums, but it must be done in a professional manner.
Understanding how to make a suggestion without the use of profanity is very important and helps justify your beliefs. All suggestions do get taken into consideration as long as they are done in a professional manner. There is never a need to call any rules "bullshit" as that only indicates you have a problem with authority and or rules. Instead you can use words like or something like, " I completely disagree with the current rules and I think they should be reviewed by the Staff" and then you can state your reasons.
This will prevent any misconceptions and help us understand why exactly it is that you disagree with the rule or rules and prevent future issues like the ones we have just witnessed.
With all this said, I want to also make perfectly clear that no one will be asked or told that they can not play with Gdubs or KaptKoon now that they are gone. You are free to choose whom you play with and there is no need to worry that I will kick you out of the Clan for doing so.
If anyone has any concerns or comments about what has happened in the last week, feel free to post them without fear. But please do not use profanity in your comments or opinions. I hope to see everyone take part in this conversation so that everyone gets some sense of relief and we can all move on. Thanks to all in advance and see you all later.
