Terrible Luck With Turtle Beach

Bought the XO Fours..... Snapped the plastic was faulty they said so best buy took it back. Then I said screw it and bought me some 800x LOL and the microphone was faulty and it wouldn't hold a charge Best buy tested it and it was faulty lol soooo I bought the new Astro A50's.
AND THEY ARE AMAZING! I also noticed the 800x by turtle beach was put on sale I asked why and the manager said because they have a 45% return rate on them and want to get ride of them and sent a batch back because they were not built to a quality standard. I realize not everyone has had that issue. Turtle beach has been around for a long time. BUT DANG lol Thats not good to hear haha

I'm one of the ones that have nothing but good times with turtle beach headsets.
First set I had was the Px5's which where completely wireless and extensively used on my Xbox 360.I could not fault this headset.The only reason I got rid of it was that it wasn't adaptable to the Xbox one on release and they hadn't manufactured the adapter so that they would be on day one.(I had this headset for near 4 years and it worked like it was only out of the box).
After I moved up to X1 I ended up going with an afterglow headset which seemed alright at first but just over a year after fuck knows what happened but everyone I used them I had a serious echo to the point where it wasn't usable.(ask tasty about this echo, i was always bugging his stream with it lol).
Now I own a set of turtle beach 420x which haven't been long on the marketplace and basically I haven't had any issues with them whatsoever.They are like my original px5's but a tad more advanced with pre select settings, ability to configure your own sound presets, a feature for added sensitivity to sounds and great comfort.
I was so close to buying the astros that you speak of but opted to go with what I knew and had never let me down in terms of enhancing my gaming experience.

SEE! Like you when i first got turtle beaches for my 360 and my ps3 they were amazing and never once had issues (tried the afterglows once and they do compare lol they are terrible imo) As of late though it's like nothing could go right with them. One plus about the Astro A50's though is they aren't built on a curved platform for the head. The band on top is thick plastic but rather than the plastic connecting into the Ear Pieces it the metal frame that extends from the top plastic. They are a tad heavier but sturdy AF. There is a lot of options though. I hear the new Steel series headsets were making there way up the top 5 list as of late.

The one thing about buying anything nowadays is that they mistreat the boxes when they get delivered to any store .... When I was at a Target they fucking kids who received the trucks just threw electronics on purpose ... not saying that is what happened to all of your TBs but it might be one reason ... I personally have never had any problems with my TBs headsets and I have owned 5 different ones

Yeah I saw a dhl delivery guy just throwing his delivery packages everywhere. It's in believable how this generation of upcoming workers treat stuff.

Oh yeah dude ... I had some replacement parts for a tv a few years ago ...when the ups driver go to the driveway, it was closes so the motherfucker decided to throw the box over the fence ...I saw it happen and I went outside talking shit to him ...I called his dispatch and had a fucking field supervisor come to the house before I even opened up the box ... when I did the damn board was actually fucking broken .... they payed for it all lol ...

For real???? That's insane. I would be pissed. I ordered protein and some other stuff. The driver left it a my door clearly knowing there was a huge hole in the box from where the guy running forklift missed the pallet lol.
