So not only do we STILL get the black screen in-game, we now get it at the menu? Sweet!
They also haven't addressed the "Dud-AT Grenades" as i'd like to call them, wonderful news.
Operations still is in bad shape. Who knew?
And balancing is still as shit as it was at launch? AWESOME.

Still, at least they're TRYING to fix it. Not at any good/reasonable speed mind you.
Player Unknown's Battleground is getting a lot of attention, and from what I've heard a much more stable player base to boot.
So is it fine to NOW assume that Battlefield is dying, just as COD did. (Disregarding the MWR player base).

Managed to grab a few games tonight and on the off chance with the update I thought I'd roll with operations.
Straight off smashed in the face with that black screen in game but like you mention Tech,it threw me off big time when I got that screen after the game had ended ie in the score screens.
I thought updates where meant to fix issues and not fuck them up any worse than what they already where.
I was optimistic with the update and potentially a tad excited to hear about netcode fixes etc but feel screwed over now and disappointed

So apparently a fix for this is to clear the reserved space for BF1.
Just go to manage the game on your xbox, save data, and then clear reserved space. This SHOULD fix it.
