Dads still in icu. Every day there's a new complication but also a old complication ruled out or taken care of so it's still progress. He has a very long road of recovery ahead of him. I'm home now but have so much catching up to do. Might be able to hop on Xbox tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I'm jonsen to play some bf1

It's good to hear there's some progression for you's,gives ya hope and faith. He'll get there bud,slow and steady wins the race as they say.

So after 11 days of being out my dad finally woke up some today. He opened his eyes was was able to answer some questions with nods and hand gestures. He still on a ventilator so hopefully tomorrow they can get that thing out of him so he can talk. The dr is pretty sure he's had a stroke sometime in the last week but we won't know how severe until he can talk.

Amazing that he woke up. Hopefully the extent on the stroke is not too serious. here's to getting that ventilator out soon.

Well, after taking the ventilator out for a couple hours they put the it back in not to long after removing it. He's not strong enough to breathe on his own. Tomorrow they are going to put in a temporary tracheotomy to help. It's supposed to speed up recovery time. This is day 14 on ventilator. Crazy!
