So we could use thoughts and prayers for my dad. He's in the ICU with a aortic dissection. Basically a tear in his aortic valve from the heart all the way down to where it splits at the groin.

Thoughts with your dad,you and your family man in what sounds like a real hard time.Wish him a unproblematic speedy recovery.
My grandfather went through a by pass a few months back,from what seemed like no way back for him the surgeons worked wonders.Its amazing how much they can do in what seems like a problem with no answers.My grandfather has been fit and healthy for the last month like it never even happened.
