So do I but learnt my lesson with Rainbow 6 and it's season pass.Regret not picking up the season pass for Bf1 though when I did have the fund-age as it seems pretty worth while with extra weapons exclusively for dlc holders along with maps.

One big change with Battlefront 2 is the drop of the season pass as we know it. It seems everything will come with the base game for free. You might just get early access and maybe some bonus stuff for more expensive packs. If that works for Battlefront 2, it might translate into the next Battlefield.

That would be awesome all games should be that way. Either do it that way or charge less for the main game and then charge for additional content.

I'll bet they will charge more for the main game 20.00-30.00 and they will call it a done deal.

It's crazy how these days game developers contradict themselves so much especially with things like this.
Another huge example of this is,the division.Season pass holders gained new game mode ie survival,underground and last stand along with other smaller perks but now developers are saying come year to this is all going to be made available to anyone that is a non season pass holder.
I think developer nowadays need to decide on something and actually stick with it.
I wouldn't mind paying a little extra for a game and in turn receiving payed dlc content for free.
