So this months games for gold on Xbox 1 are Ryse son of Rome and darksiders.
For the past while I have picked up in store a few times Ryse son of Rome and put it down again. This will be one that il probably download and play through, glad that I didn't actually pay money for it when it's released as a free games for gold offer.
Haven't experienced darksiders or see any footage of it but il more than likely check it out on YouTube and it appeals to me il download it also.Got plenty of room now with my external storage so have to think about filling t with something at least.
Will anyone else be trying out Aprils games for gold????

Ryse actually appeals to my game sense considering iv a huge love for the Roman Empire in history.
Think I must have picked it up around 6/7 times and put it back on the shelf again.
Is it as good playing as what it looks?

I liked it. The story was good but haven't played it since I beat the game would recommend downloading to play especially since it's free

Yep...i agree with Toxic...it's fun, if a little linear but it's stunning visually and feels meaty in combat.

Right up my street then in terms of being enjoyable.I can remember the visual trailer from E3 when it was first released and it did seem pretty decent.
Can also remember the fact that they actually factor in the way in that the romans used battle formations and strategies, that's a nice touch
