I have never played battlefield before, I am getting my ass stomped pretty regularly so far. Getting a bit better but it is definitely different.

Battlefield is definitely a different kind of animal. It's not run-n-gun as someone would think. I used to play with some top notch players in BF3 and learned some do's and don'ts all the while getting my ass kicked.

Get in a lobby with some CAG guys and we will show you the ropes. I struggled greatly at the beginning as well. Definitely not a run and gun game.

Working with teammates with mics is a definite for most game modes. That was previous lesson learned quickly

The early days playing bf3 as a CAG recruit/early member with direct comms with the likes of Blameitongod13,Stormy,and a few others that have came and went is what changed my gaming experiences to a more positive level.

Yeah ... I stayed and use most of the default weapons ... find one that is already unlocked that you have a good feel with and stick with it ...

So did I for the most part, you can almost get too comfortable to the point where the weapons no longer a challenge to use. That's where you switch it up and move onto the next and so on and so on until your fully accustomed.
Everyone and nearly everyone ran the M16a3 as it was strong, same as the aek.
