With 2 weeks to go, what are you doing to prepare? What is your strategy for day ZERO of the Expansion?
(This is meant for all of us to discuss and develop a strategy for those deciding to come back to the game and those looking to start playing for the first time)
To Start:
Stock pile weapon parts and everything currently needed to upgrade your new gear.
This includes Legendary Gear in your vault so that you can easily create Marks for purchasing New gear (hopefully they won't change the currency...)

Stock pile your motes , strange coins , legendary and exotic engrams and all planetary items .
The engrams for the reason of xp to the crypto and marks and shards if needed .
Also try to have your toons to level 40 and light level 330 at least . The nightfall will probably be a higher light so best to be on par .
Take a break if needed so as not to get burnt out .
Myself I'm still trying every week to reach max light as of now .
When rise of iron releases take your time with it don't rush it makes for a better xp and destiny 2 is not coming till 2017 around September so lots of time to spend on the game !!

What's the best way to get Light level 330+ without raiding?
(For those of us who have issues finding a raid group that can stay together long enough to even take down the first boss)

Remember this Thursday Destiny servers could be down all day for updates (someone correct me if I'm wrong with the date)
The only way to pre-order is through GameStop (Online or Brick Store) that I've been able to find for $30.
(Amazon and Xbox seem to be sold out)
You can get The Taken King and possibly all previous expansions for $20 in game
(Don't qoute me on it including the previous expansions, it could have been just for taken King)

I think they greatly increased the amount of green engrams that drop for all levels. (First time I saw a green at level 40 in a long time and they are dropping like crazy)
need someone one to confirm or tell me I'm crazy.
