Elite Controler On Destiny

Ok two days after I started playing with the Elite and I'm getting comfortable with the paddles. I have noticeably seen a huge difference In my ability of staying alive in the Heroic Strikes. I do however catch myself using the buttons a bit more in the heavy fights but after I notice It, I can get myself back to the paddles with not happening again for the rest of the fight. When done correctly it's easy to get the character to do pretty much whatever maneuver you want when using the Titan exotic chest "Twighlight Garrison" which gives you the extra boost on your "B" button. Since you don't take your hands off any of the buttons for the maneuver you can chain the jumps and easily put your Titan amost exactly where you want everytime you use the "B" boost button. Anyone have a favorite load out using the Elite Controler?

Ok after using the elite in a raid, tons of strikes and a few crucible matches; I'm finally getting used to the flapper buttons on the bottom and only using a,b,x,y buttons when I'm at the tower or reef (I turn the flapper buttons off sp that there aren't any unintentional purchases/deletions by hitting the little green button twice to turn them on/off)

The most notable difference with the elite is a huge increase in surviving hairy situations so much so that my play style is much more aggressive due to having confidence of being able to control the character while keeping my weapon on the intended target. Now Granted my button layout is designed to utilize the exotic chest piece "Twighlight Garrison" which utilizes the B button to give the Titan an evasion while in mid air.
Layout:
top right paddle: X button for reloading
bottom right paddle: A button for normal jump button

top left paddle: Y button for weapon swapping
bottom left paddle: B button for "Twighlight Garrison" evasion

Left stick: set to aggressive and pulled to the right
right stick: smooth

left trigger: normal
right trigger: hair trigger

with this layout the only time a finger needs to switch to a different button is for grenade throws and melee which are the top left/right bumpers.

If anyone has a better layout or needs help getting their controls figured out just ask here. I'm still very new at this but hopefully any of you that have elite controllers or are looking to buy one this thread will be helpful in one way or another.

Anyone have a better left/right stick and trigger setup?
after playing last night I started noticing a few things but it's hard to describe.
think my trigger ratio's are 1:0

After way to many crucible games in a row I've learned that you really need seperate PvP and PvE layouts. Example: I normally only run the Twighlight Garrison chest piece but in crucible it can be useful to wear the double grenade chest piece. It makes your B button on the bottom left paddle a little less useful.
The other big difference is I will need a different stick setup that allows for faster movement and target acquisition. Anyone have any Crucible layouts?
Will post again when I have time to build a Crucible layout that is battle tested.
