Thanks Gypsy, I think I read it a few days ago but after sleeping on it last night I'm hoping we can do something like the example I showed that makes recruits show their abilities in almost every part of the game instead of splitting it to one of the two main parts which doesn't really show us what they need help on.
If we do find that we want it as two separate recruit requirements we may want to separate them into different squads/platoons because I think it will expand the separation of the people that prefer either PvP or PvE. Someone correct me if I'm not remembering correctly but I remember that divide affecting the team atmosphere that should be created due to PvP players and PvE not wanting to switch sides to help each other. This isn't to say the different squads/platoons wouldn't help each other in the future but I think separating them with their favorite play style, giving them some type of identifier could decrease the animosity when asked to switch and help the other side due to them being on separate teams. ( just an idea and you all know more about this part than I do with the "Division" game being similar to this one. I am a big fan of being a team player and helping each other out is more important than just going and grinding your favorite play style versus helping someone with quests (there's quests in both play styles and even some that are combined) or if one side already has a group setup and only need one or 2 people to fill a full CaG group (crucible, strikes, raids). But something like this would absolutely need to be strict policy before things get back up and running so as there not to be any questions to these expectations such as the only excuse not to do the right thing is not having enough time to do what the majority wants with severe consequences with lying/abusing this policy. (Also because I think this is what one of you will ask is "well what if something changes will they get in trouble then?" And the answer is No as long as they make sure the group they told they didn't have enough time and post a quick statement in the forums. This is so that we can keep track of it (make a dedicated forum for this so that we can keep track/weed out the abusers that aren't team players.

(If something like this is too strict let me know so I can adjust fire the way I'm thinking for future posts)

I just want to see something done so we can use it as the starting point...this is what frustrated not only ME last time but everyone else in different ways...too much back n forth on the forums about what should be done and never anything that was tested in game play...

So get things done....get the requirements together for the first award or medal needed to become a CAG Dogg first...then once that's done you get rhe next one going...

Absolutely Cheech, I remember exactly what you are talking about. I wasn't being clear enough, I Am trying not to step on toes because I have been away for awhile. I'll get the CaG dog requirement done here in the next hour Or two (still have a house to get squared away for our military family).

4 crucible matches with positive K/D wins and must use atleast 2 of the subclasses in separate matches. As well as 2 heroic strikes (with a 10/1 Kill to death ratio using different weapons for both and different subclasses for both, 250 light rank (required on only one of their three characters). Recruits new to the game with less than 250 light defense on one of their three characters gets two weeks to meet this goal.
Even if the recruit completes all requirements they still need 2 recommendations from 2 members and Even then if 2 members give the recruit "No" votes (No votes are not a formal thing that must be done for every recruit but used to make sure bad apples have a reduced chance
They can use whatever means they want to to get the kills as long as they meet the change of class and weapon requirements.
before recruit can even join they must be told and agree to the following: (bylaws?)
1) This is a team atmosphere and anyone not willing to help (especially if their is a new recruit needing a member to evaluate them or a team/group/raid that needs another member and they just go out on their own) need not apply.
(There were a few more things like this that are needed but I can't keep my eyes open anymore lol)

This is needed or even a washed down version due to this being problems previously. Just likes when you come across a stupid rule in the army and ask yourself was someone this dumb that we need a rule for it and the answer was yes because some dumbass stuck their dick in a light socket while searching for grid squares for the pricky-8.

(I know this might be drastically different than other dogg requirements and I can explain the reasons for this drastic change if needed)

Let me know what needs to be done next. Would like to get most of the admin work done before I get back so I can help existing members with power leveling, quests and anything else necessary to build the first raid team.

Refined CAG DoGG (Destiny) award:


1. 4 crucible matches with positive K/D wins. Must use atleast 2 subclasses.


2. 2 heroic strikes (10:1 K/D) must utilize a different Sub-Class on each strike.
Must utilize different weapon set on each strike (primary, secondary and Heavy).


3. Recruit must obtain a Light Defense of 275 by the end of their 2 week probation.

4. Recruit must Obtain 2 CAG member recommendations at the end of their probation period.


(Recruit must have a CAG DoGG member in their team for all requirements, proof of obtaining each requirement will be posted to the forums with CAG DoGG members in game name/forum name)
(Award can only be achieved with recruit using their Main Guardian so as to show proficiency with that Guardian)
(Members new to the game can receive a Light Defense extension on a case by case basis)
(CAG DoGG members evaluating recruits should post a reply with recruits proof of achieved requirements)

This should be the finalized and refined award you were looking for Cheech.
