I seen the latest trailers. Haven't seen the newest multi yet, but the single player camp looks like it might be fun...im trying not to over think its similarities with what's already been done in past mech games or even anime/Manga. Of course I'd want a mech brother with a decent AI. But xenosaga, shogo, and Gundam all have shown us these aspects in a game already.

Electronic Arts confirmed last year that a sequel to its giant mech, first-person shooter from 2014 would finally be available this fall. Titanfall 2 will finally have a campaign mode for players to explore, plus a ton of new weapons and fighting mechanics to test out.

THE STORY


Little is known about Titanfall 2, but we do know that the sequel will have a more traditional, single-player campaign that will give players a little bit more story than they experienced in the first game. Titanfall focused on the war-torn groups of people at the the frontier of space exploration. Split into two groups, either the Interstellar Manufacturing Corporation (IMC) or the Militia. It's unclear if Titanfall 2 will continue to focus on these two groups, but in a teaser posted for the game in April, it's made evident that war will continue.

WHAT IS TITANFALL 2?


Titanfall 2 is the mech-giant, single-player and multiplayer sequel to Respawn Entertainment's 2014 game


What will you be doing in the game?


Like in the first Titanfall, you'll be playing as a free-running, foot soldier who can board any mechanical Titan you want in order to fight other players. There will be some additional weapons and fighting mechanics added to give it a fresh feel, and a single-player campaign promises that there will be more options for those that want to play offline or just don't want to deal with other people. Exact details on what the main missions will be, how long the campaign will run and other general information will be revealed during EA's Play conference at E3.


What weapons can I use?


That's the question of the hour and the answer is: we still don't know. We know that there will be more weapons this time around, but as to what those include, the possibilities are endless.


What upgrades will the Titans have?


Although there will be upgrades, Respawn and EA did not announce during its press conference what major upgrades the mech Titans would have, but Polygon will update it as more information is made available over the course of E3.


What about the single-player campaign?


SINGLE-PLAYER CAMPAIGN PROMISES THAT THERE WILL BE MORE OPTIONS
According to producer Drew McCoy, the single-player campaign will take place in the same universe, a little ways down the line, but it is not a continuation of the first game by any means. In the game, you play a grunt who has to finish a battle behind enemy lines.
How long will the campaign be?


Although a single-player campaign was announced, Respawn did not specify how long the campaign would be.


How many players can be in a match at once?


Right now, it looks like it's still up to 12 players. Respawn did not specify if Titanfall 2 would allow for additional players in the new multiplayer mode.


Will there be a new class of Titans?


There will be new six classes of titans, including the Vanguard. Described as being similar to the mid-sized Titans in the first game, the Vanguard is one of the newest classes. McCoy said that Titanfall 2 would lean into the emotional capability of the mechs and how they bond with their pilots.


What new tactical abilities will the pilots have?


The biggest new advantage is the ability to use a grapple hook to launch themselves over a Titan and enter the mech body of another. Check it out in the gif below.

How many multiplayer maps will there be?


Respawn did not specify.


Do I have to be online to play?


EA confirmed at E3 that players do not need to be connected to enjoy the single-player campaign, as previously suggested. This was a main cause of concern for players of the first Titanfall game.


When is the game being released?


The game will be released on October 28, 2016.

Not to sure wether il get this or not,I did enjoy the first Titanfall but the game just seemed to dwindle very very quickly and thats not what keeps me captivated to keep playing.

Thats what im hoping for,I probably wont pick this up and just watch a few streams to see how it fairs against the last one before jumping balls deep,especially with so many other games.
