    Pain!


    Okaii so I've bitten the bullet & phoned the doctors up, it was a real struggle for me to put my boot on this morning a80fd28e810c6598d0161050e69bd993 that is what my ankle looks like as off 19:00 last night. I'm not one to normally go to the doctors or hospital for something so small but when it's effecting me being able to walk or weight bare then it needs to be looked at. Was told by my shift sergeant why did I book on but my response is I need to be paid I need to work...

    So the news from the doctors is as I suspected it is broken but because I'm able to walk/limp on it there's no need for me to go up the hospital. It's a bad sprain little bit of a break, but no need for hospital! Plenty of rest (yeah right) & ice packs but that's the mojo just gotta let it heal by itself

    If you notice you are walking weird once it has healed, like a slight limp or your foot just not feeling "normal" when moving, I would highly suggest to find a pool and go swimming. It is the best physiotherapy there is. The reason is that there is always resistance against your body as you are in the water.

    When I broke my leg I was going to physio and after 3 weeks had very little improvement, I asked if I could go swimming as my family at the time owned a house with a pool. I swam everyday after school for a few hours and next time I saw my trainer she said there wasn't much she could offer me as I was basically back to regular form.

    Hopefully your foot/ankle heals quick!
