You should! I love my headset also in your game setting in black ops change your audio from default too super crunch you can hear footsteps and boosting better

I'd say for you to look into the the turtle beach 800x
There completely wireless and have a charging dock that also acts as a stand for the headset .

So when your not playing the headset charges and is ready for the next time your ready to game .
The headset also pairs it's on self once you turn your headset on ..

There's also a cool feature called Noise insulation button . You hit that and it Basicly eliminates all sound in your house haha
The best way I can describe is . When someone puts there hands over your ears . All you hear is game play

Another feature I like is . That the mic doesn't pic up a lot of other noises and voices in your background .

The battery life will last a full eight hours of play without dying out on you .
Iv went a whole day playing and then spending a few hours bumping on YouTube and they still didn't die out Haha
It has all the same presets as the Astros do . And it also haves a program that you can download to your laptop and program to your headsets . You have a total of 18 presets that you can program .
Bionic hearing , footsteps focus , etc etc
And I don't mean to bash Astros ..
But one thing that I did t like about the Astros and this has always been a problem in my eyes is .
If you want to higher your gameplay volume on then headset . Then your chat goes lower ...
If you want to higher your chat volume your game play goes lower .
They don't have a separate volume control for the both .

Iv Owend both the Astro A50 wireless and the turtles .. And I will say this ...
I turned in the Astros for the Turtles and I don't regret it one bit .
And to also let you know how much more I like the Turtles .
I got The 800x"s for the Xbox One and I also went out and Got The same Model 800 for the Ps4 .
Because I just couldn't do without the quality of the headset while I played on the Ps4

what about just going with the adapter if u like ur headset. i bought this for my TB Spectre. and i works awesome. just a thought

At the moment I do have the xp seven headset. Unfortunately I bought it when I had my Xbox 360. Now I changed over, and got the free connector to the Xbox one controller, I can't control the sound of anything. Used to have presets where I could hear footsteps, and the direction they were coming from, along with 7 other features. But none of it works. Before buying a new one I will contact turtle beach and find out why it does not work. As the Astros A50 and turtle beach 800x are true same price, $400, I will have to check out more reviews.

Not wireless. I plug my headset into the adapter with a 3.5mm plug

Well after a lot of investigating, I have ordered the elite 800x headset. Should be in today or tomorrow. Starting to think I should have waited until I was in the USA in September to buy it. $449 is a lot to pay. Will be worth it I hope.
