I always hated having the box pop up telling me someone is online or joined a party while watching a YouTube video in bed or a live Twitch event. I use the ps4 because it's convenient. For major events I was taking the time to hook up my laptop but then I couldn't browse the interwebs while watching. Definitely will be using this feature.
The User Scheduled Event sounds good for our new CAG civil war events.

Just got home and tested out the appear offline thing. Still flawed to me. If I select "log in (appear offline)". Then turn myself online, play game, turn off ps4. When I turn on the ps4 again I am now logged in as "online". In my opinion you should be able to set it so that everytime you log in it stays as what you selected "appear offline".
If I wanted to turn on my ps4 to watch youtube/twitch/netflix, it will pop up for everyone that I am online then when they check I will actually be offline because I would have to manually turn it off after logging in.
Always one step forward and three steps back with big brands.
