Banner Image Rotation

So this is just something that has been bothering me the past couple of days. I usually have my laptop open to these forums while I play and the banner that flips through the "PC Division", "Charlie Company", and "Battlefield Brigade", has a gap where another banner used to show and has been cut out of the rotation.

The problem is that it still is there in rotation just not displayed anymore, so the forums/ homepage do a bump up and bump down every 30 or so seconds because the banner spacing is gone for that gap. I'm sure all of you know what I am talking about, if you don't just load up any page and look near the top or scroll to the bottom and watch the magic occur.

Just wondering if the "tech guy" could fix this, or if it is being worked on.

If help is needed with it I wouldn't mind taking a deeper look into it. I am still fairly new to coding but I know enough to tell you what banner was supposed to be there and the name of it ;)

There is no banner missing my Man ...all the banners that need to be shown are shown .... what browser are you using .... if you are not using firefox you are going to experience problems ...I don't support IE and google is right behind it ....

Weird. I use chrome so I guess that is probably the issue. When I took a look at the code the GTA banner had 0px for width and height and also a couple of properites had "!important" tagged onto them. I guessed this to be a work around to hide that banner for the time being but was somehow still in the rotation and causing this issue.

Like I mentioned I still concider myself new to coding so lots of reasoning and trying to figure out someone else's code is still very difficult to me.

Anyway, nice site! I'll just figure out how to cope on my end.

The GTA is in the rotation ... i see the dimensions so everything is good .... I have to have them set so that I don't take a hit for not having the actual size of images ...

And that is weird because the image size is hardcoded in the plugin already so that I don't have to add it to each image every time ...

I use Chrome and suffer with this problem constantly! Especially when I'm trying to click on a thread and it bumps up and I click on something else entirely. I find Firefox is amazing for add ons, but Chrome better for everyday browsing and loading of pages, and as I haven't done any programming or have any need for add ons any more I only use Chrome.

At least I'm not alone! :P When I get time, which is getting less and less at the moment, I may set Firefox back up again.

I just opened up the forums in chrome and I don't get that ...have you guys allowed unsecured content to show up ...it might be a https issue and chrome is bad with this kind of shit ...they won't allow shit that is under http show up some times if everything else in the page is behind https

Is the element that appears to not work on Chrome. Going by what Khaaaaaotik says and what I've found. I don't see any GTA clan banners there either so must be that. Obviously if it's meant for Firefox we'll just have to adapt instead

I have full access to unsecured content, my shit's open for everything. I do run ABP (Ad Block Plus) though? Would that effect it?

I doubt it ...try it now .... I removed and added both the link and image path to see if that would trigger it again on chrome for you
