Oh man, you best get your notebook out son cause you're about to be schooled! Nah, but really, I love unconventional dates. I mean, I don't mind the whole dinner-movie date but that's so overly done and cliche. Especially when you're at dinner and the conversation can sometimes seemed forced. So, without knowing crap about you, here's some of my favorite things:

Go to the gosh darn zoo. Man, go when there are those adorable ass babies being born. Seeing those little baby animals running around is freaking incredible.

Don't like the sun? Go to the damn aquarium. Just walk around, make a game of naming fish and giving them personalities. I have to tell you, a few friends and I went to the aquarium and we had voices for different fish and that had to be absolutely one of the greatest days. Plus, when she's just walking around and staring off into the tanks, you get free views of her in a completely tender state. So, +1

Go paintballing, kayaking, laser tag, Dave and Buster's, bowling, white water rafting, take a hike, go for a drive and see if you stumble upon some new place you've never seen. Go to the wine and drawing thing that people do, go to a concert or karaoke bar or the freaking circus! Ever been to a rodeo? GO! Ever had some kind of thing you guys have always wanted to do? (Scuba classes for instance) then take them together. Go on a hot air balloon ride, go to a water park or theme park or carnival.

Play the penny date game (take a penny and have her tell you a random number, then you will flip the penny that many times and heads you will take a left, tails you take a right. Drive until you end up at the final turn and (if there's a restaurant there) you'll go in and eat. If not, flip the penny 3-5 more times and ta-da, random date!)

But seriously, there's so many things you can do. Just think outside of the box. The dates where you can just laugh and talk without even trying to are the absolute best dates.

i literally took notes from the list damn there were so many good ones. im actually planning on taking her to an animal shelter to go and pet puppies and cats someday. if you dont mind do go on haha

Women love, LOVE, little thoughtful things. It doesn't have to be this big extravagant adventure.

Clean up for her.
Make her breakfast.
Buy her something small but thoughtful.
Hold her hand, give her a hug, or something else that shows her affection.
Go stargazing (a good set of binoculars and a star map) or take her to an actual observatory.
Go to an art exhibit, small coffeeshop with a band, or some other local culture.
Rent a fancy car and go for a drive.
Get a Jeep and be a man, take her wheeling lol.
Live in a van, down by the river.
Invite someone she cares about out to a nice dinner with you and surprise her (her parents or friends).
Look up local community events calendar, every town has one, and pick something.

havoc you are definitely right on this. its the small things that count. (at least thats what i tell myself(asian jokes ha)) but it definitely is the small things that count. or at least an accumultion of both small and big things, depending on who it is the small things are big to them.
