To be honest after my first test of this. I will definitely not be picking this game up at launch. I am going to give it a bit to see more of what the game will be. I don't feel it follows the original at all. Hopefully there is some actual story to it and not just these "missions" I got some gun attachments and apparently can't even attach them.

I'm not going to lie, when I loaded in to the game I thought I was paying a Playstation 2 game. I heard about the bad graphics but oh my lord. They slightly got better after a few minutes but still for being made with cryengine it is a piss poor excuse after seeing what they could do with other games and that engine.

There is a wide variety of weaponry and customization though. Hit detection was good for the most part up until I hit a small patch of lag. I stood right behind a guy and unload 3 m4 mags into the back of his head before he died.

All in all not impressed at all with this game so far. I haven't lost all hope yet, but I will check out the reviews at launch to see what people think and if it improves

About 10pm eastern. I played 2 games then switched to bo3 to play with a friend from back home I grew up with

same here the beta was garbage. I know it is a beta, but man it really turned me off the game. I don't think I would be picking this up. They are too many games coming out that are going to beat it. I am still looking forward to the division and the new Doom game coming out in the summer.

Yah I really think this game is going to be a major flop and lose all of its following and fans from the original

Damn 3am my time,I was getting up for work an hr later.


Checked out a few streams today for a half hr and game wise im not impressed either,more so due to the mission aspect of the game rather than allowing you to free roam and pick up the missions when you choose to do so.Kinda like the division aspect.


As for following the previous title it does disappoint that its not a follow on but whenever I was reading up on it on a few sites it mentioned quite a few times that I strictly wasn't following on from the first homefront.

Overall,and this is before I have played the beta I wont be picking this up.The division and siege will be enough for me as well as having the ability to play ops3 also

Yeah I am going to free up space on the system and delete the beta , first off it's so similar to the division. I don't need two games like that with playing the siege . I just don't have the time . So the division has won! Plus so many more good games coming out .
