I mean, I suppose this is the right section. It does say "Entertainment" so let me entertain some of you.

I have somewhat of an issue when it comes to collectables. A month or so after I started working at GameStop I was thrown into the "Amiibo" hype.. for those who don't know, Amiibos are Nintendo Interactive Figurines based on popular games such as Super Smash Bros, Animal Crossing, Splatoon, etc.. With these things it varies what they can do in each game, like in SSB they're a pretty damn smart AI, Splatoon you get more missions.. etc.

ANYWAYS, I was thrown into the hype during wave 4? And there was a shit ton of these things out already. So let me tell you, I've spent hundreds to get the entire collection and you know what? I've achieved it!

Yes I seriously do have a problem, but what's even worse is that I'm a diehard Animal Crossing fan and they came out with amiibo cards.. So far there's 4 series that were announced, two have only been released.. long story short, each series has 100 cards.. Do the math, that's 400. And these are like pokemon cards.. Buy a pack for 5.99 and good luck. I've spent so much money in order to get the full set for both of the sets I have now lmao.

Yeah takes dedication to get a collection that big.Can definitely see how it could be addictive with them around you working at gamestop,our local UK game store stocks shit loads of these and its the first thing you see when you walk through their doors

You have no idea how annoying some customers can be over these things though. I like to open mine as you can see, but the people who don't need the best looking character and box. I've had a customer stay in the store for about an hour trying to decide which Lucas was the best, I was like are you fucking kidding me pls we're closing LOL

Lol I know what you mean,id probably be within that category when it comes to buying anything.Iv seen me stand and look at 3 different versions of the one game and come out with the first one I picked up.

You can use them for specific games like Super Smash Bros.. they're smart asf AIs, Splatoon gives you more missions.. Yoshi's Woolly World gives you another character.. Hyrule Warriors gives you stuff in game.. Escentially it's supposed to benefit your "game experience" in some way depending on what game you're playing.

I mean, they're pretty cute too *-* lmao.
