Headset Chat Issue In Rainbow

Not sure what changed to my headset (Polk 4 Shot) But, I have had no issues up to the update. I can talk and hear in a game just fine. I cannot hear party chat in the lobby or game. People can hear me they say. I have checked the switch to party chat/ switch to game chat toggle with no luck. Volume on my adapter both ways to max.

Any of you gurus out there have a tip?

Could be somthing with your NAT type if it's not open I had that problem awhile ago

My NAT is open. I did the static IP and the port forwarding for xbox and seige. I did that because of connecting to games and since then it hasn't been a issue.

I may just do the power off and hold the xbox console button 10 seconds unlug it for 2 mins and boot back up in ordfer and see if that clears some kind a ache issue.

This bullshit with the headsets on xb1 is ridiculous. ...it's been an issue since day one and they still don't do shit about it

Issue is Resolved!

Spent about 2 hours with Microsoft support in a chat session. He stuck with me and tried many things. I think the fix was profile related he thought.

I had to remove my account and re add it. at the same time he had me assign my controller to my account.

I'm just glad it is resolved. Wish I had a copy of the chat log.
