Discuss Tom Clancy's the Division here
I'm on it now join party if you'd like to play
Ideals are peaceful, History is violent
I see why it has mixed reviews because it truly is the first of its kind on a system. PC players have had this type of game for years. The console community is used to fps and getting what they want by just killing and achieving a level. They don't want the story involved and the grinding that is involved to get the good gear. They want it right now so they can troll the people that do enjoy playing the game for what it is

Dont get me wrong a lot of the reviews iv read and videos/streams I have watched have had a lot of positives also.
A few of these are -
the real grind to level up as it makes the game feel that deeper.
The game play has been hailed by all I have watch to be thoroughly enjoyable aside from any bad points.
Realistic weaponry in game to that of reality and that player balance is evident so that someone cant just pick an overpowered weapon up and gun people down.
Some of the disadvantages that iv watched or heard are -
Console players will be running at less than 1080p and it can be seen when involved in large gun battles that the fps puts out at 30fps(This is something I hope they increase on release or shortly after)
Graphics in game are good but not what was shown in E3 which a lot of people seem to be bringing up quite frequently.
Rouge agent status - Once someone becomes rouge the timer(as all you guys that have played the beta know) can increase to a max of 300 seconds. Now the problem with this is that when you hit that rouge status the only way to loose it is RUN and Evade staying away from any and all battles while trying to stay alive.Even returning fire to protect yourself from an enemy that fires on you first adds to the rouge timer.(im hoping they tweek this so that at least the timer pauses when firing to protect yourself)
This is just a little of the advantages and disadvantages that iv picked up on while watching streams and youtube vids.
Yah the 30 fps is completely understandable though and I'm surprised people complain about it. The magnitude of the graphics, sounds, details, movements is all very taxing. Not to mention the upkeep of the ambient sounds in the vicinity. I'm amazed they can keep the graphic quality that high when those big fights go down. But people also must take in to account that it is a beta and things may have been toned down a bit due to having to cut features and areas out but still maintain what they want to pass on to the audience.
And I do agree that the timer should keep counting or pause when returning defensive fire. Because the timer also goes up for every bullet that hits you. At the same time I see why they made it that way. The best gear in the game is found in there. High risk =high reward
