What is Xp Doing If I Don't Prestige?

I noticed I'm still getting xp (going from level 55 to 55). Will that count once I prestige?

Absolutely nothing lol ... I have never prestiged and won't either.

Once the meter gets to the highest it will just stay there. Once you prestige it resets completely.

If they stand up, put them back down.

Your Xp is just going to your over all leaderboard score ..
But unless you prestige your over all score will not Advance that Much

In addition to what Patron said, the only benefits to doing prestige are 1 extra Custom config slot, and 1 permanent unlock to any equipment or weapon that you have unlocked at the time you prestige. Most of us don't benefit from the extra Custom slot, because we have 1 setup that we like to compete with, and the rest of the slots are setups made just for messing around. The permanent unlock is a nice feature tho. You can unlock your favorite weapon and continue to play with it. You just have to suck up the wait to unlock other equipment until you reach that level and/or prestige again and permanently unlock it.

You can permanently unlock as soon as you prestige, you just gotta do it through the barracks for some stupid reason.

I prestige asap because i feel like im wasting that xp if i don't, but i think I'm slightly ocd lol

You always had to prestige from the barracks. I didn't like the how many sub menus you had to go through to find prestige mode.

I was talking about the permanent unlocks from the barracks as opposed to finding whatever you want to unlock and hitting r1 or whatever button it was. Whereas now you have to go through the barracks and go into the prestige tab and go into the permanant unlock tab then scroll through and find what you want to unlock

You cannot unlock everything because you do not have the tokens to do so.
