So just wondering how many "nerds" are out there? I travel to the Sequoia National Forest in California all the time (property up there). I use my amateur radio for GPS (APRS if anyone knows what that is) and coms as there is no cell coverage for about an hour in all directions.
I am part of a club that has Repeaters all around there and where I live so if anything happens while anyone is up there someone can call 911 for help (again no cell coverage).
So how many people in CAG have there HAM license? In USA or another country. Post your Radio(s) and call sign.
