    Text And Quotations

    Hey people CAG JB here,
Iv noticed some confusion on site with people not realising who is being spoken to on forums within threads and posts. This isn't intended for anyone in particular but actually covers everyone that has had the same confusion on the forums past and present.
On site when posting within a thread you have multiple ways of posting,a few of these are as follows -
    * A standard post - This is where one simply writes within a thread and hits that post option below their text.
    * Quoting a post - Before writing your text you have the ability to quote a post that has been previously written in a thread by a previous member/user.(you will find the "quote post" option on the bottom of the members post on which you want to reply to.
    * Multiple Quotes - Same as the above point, one can quote multiple members/users within a thread if they wish to reply to different members/users at the same time. The multiple quote option is found in the exact same place as the "quote post" option.
For instance,if I myself simply wanted to give an opinion on a thread or post something relevant to the thread id use the first option ie A simple post
If I was reading through a thread and I actually wanted to address someone in particular about something they have posted I would be looking to use the "quote post" option or in the case of multiple members or users id use the "quote multiple post" option.
I find that by following these guidelines that there will always be less confusion surrounding who is generally addressing who on the forums.
Communication is key within a place like this.I covered a topic a long time ago where text can be interpreted many different ways depending on how its read and therefore can lead to misunderstandings that where actually not meant to be.By using and understanding the three methods of posting above plain misunderstandings will always be avoided and will facilitate communication on the forums to flow that much easier.
Like stated above this post isn't intended for anyone specific but to be used more as an informative thread for those that are having trouble understanding when members/users are addressing each other.
Thank You to all who read this thread!
