Great so far! Sat in my patrol car, I was called to a travellers site as you can imagine police aren't welcome. Go to a field where kids were seen on a motorbike/quad bike causing trouble to general members of the public who are walking their dogs... Me being the closest unit available I go down, car isn't designed to go off roaring but to the hell with it I go off roading anyway! Young man comes up in front off me shits himself & falls off the bike as he's seen me, gave him a warning that I was a dog handler & if he runs I'll let the dogs out. He backed down straight away haha!! I think I could smell some shit as well!! Others come over & over all, I got fucked!!! Started getting pelted by their parents with bricks stones sticks the lot! Couldn't go anywhere so I made sure the dogs were safely secure in the boot & hit my panic button! Never been so scared for my life

Not to sure how gypsy's/travellers are over in the main land but in Northern Ireland/Ireland they are probably one of the toughest sons of bitches around.
People here tend to tread carefully round them due to their explosiveness and their reputation for fighting both alone and with family

Well we had a 999 call mate so we had to attend, tried reasoning with one man who wasn't having any off it... At that time I had no where else to go, car was surrounded & so was I... Shit a brick I didn't do anything from there on to provoke an attack on me whilst backup was on route

I did mate, as best to my ability... Wasn't pleasant having bricks n shit thrown at you but heyho! Part n parcel of the jump at hand isn't it I guess. I'm okaii though backup wasn't too far away & as soon as you see the lights & hear the sirens that's when I started to get myself together & get them scrotes under control

Not meaning this in a bad way whatsoever buddy but definitely rather you than me,hats off to you as i couldn't deal with that type of shit day in and day out as my nut would go.I wouldn't last long and id end up doing something I regretted.
