Has anyone had any issues with their left analogue stick.I play a lot of Fps genre games and staying still is sometimes a must to conceal my position in game.My left stick tends to constantly move my character forward constantly when in the neutral position and its really affecting me in a big way especially when attempting to play Rainbow six.
Does anyone know of a possible solution for this that avoids dismantling the controller?
My 360 controller use to do this. I have no idea what caused it. It was very annoying. Good luck buddy!

Yeah its annoying as hell especially with Rainbow,peeking a corner and continually moving isn't how its mean to be.
My 360 pad also did this...the only way I found to fix it was to twist the whole pad so hard in a rage that it separated at the seams and then rendered completely useless.
Buying a new pad from eBay fixed the problem.
I do realise this may not be optimal solutionising for you bro. But agreed...so very frustrating!

Lol Arch that'll do it haha, just tried it out there quick while cooking dinner for the kids.
I used some rubbing alcohol round both sticks to see if it was just the simplistic fuck up (that being dirt and grime).Tried it on the game thief and the character seemed to register still when the stick was neutral but im not getting my hopes up until I get the time tonight to try it out on siege.
Fingers crossed as I cant afford shelling out on a controller after paying £45 for Siege

Actually have had this problem, not saying this is proven or good or anything but I used a q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol on the stick and it helped? If ur out of options maybe try it, that was a old 360 controller though I no nothing about new ones and specs

My right stick used to do that in bf, it would strafe me while Neutral. A good smack would fix it but never permanently.

So quick update,like I mentioned before I put some alcohol round both sticks(only left needed it but figured I may as well do both).
So playing Siege last night it completely got rid of the forward drift that I was experiencing.So yeah the alcohol seems to do the trick that is surmising its just dirt or sticky sticks.
