No Internet!!

Got home from work today and my internet isn't working so I called the cable company I guess they have to replace 400-600 feet of fiber optic cable I asked how long they expect it to be down and he says he can't tell me that Wtf

That's the fucked up part about Fios .... they know there is a break somewhere but not exactly where ...therefore they have to replace a whole section to get it all done right ... one small break fucks up the whole network which could include a whole block of hundreds of houses ..

That's the fucked up part about fiber optics ...it is very vulnerable to the cold especially in freezing conditions .... its basically small strands of glass and if it's cold enough it freezes up and with any kind of movement or impact such as trucks or cards driving by it can cause it to fracture ....

But it is fast as hell when it works. It is extremely expensive to replace.

Yeah ....its fast but you don't need that much download to game ...it's the upload you need the most and even with uploads as high as fios offers , it still lags because of all the people who are on the network ... so it really balances out between cable and fios ... I have cable internet through time warner and I love it ... i had fios and i hated it ...too much down time

I hate time warner. There Internet is good but that's it. My mom's has fios and she loves them. They cost a lot though. What I want is Google Internet. Hahaha
