Have u tried Playing a XBox 360 game on it yet ? Because from what I gathered from the Guy at GameStop is that this update will be the one with the Backwards Capability

I've been able to play 360 games for a while on the preview program but I do think you are correct in your statement...back compat should be available in the next big update. This also means a bigger catalogue being made available.
