Yeah exactly why I didn't sign up,if I can avoid stuff like this then I will by any means necessary.
I think CAG Archangel is also having trouble with joining parties with his latest update with the preview programme
No it will be Xbox wide here in the next month or two. Us previewers just get to have it fuck with us a little earlier than everyone else. Some of the ideas are good. There are some good things to it but unless you know all the button short cuts it is a major pain in the arse.
Like the left and right triggers quick jump you to the top and our bottom of each tab.
The one good thing I like about it is when starting a party you don't have no navigate through the party system or the players profile. Just highlight their name in your friend list and hit x.
As far as being faster (which is the entire purpose behind the update) it really isn't. The side menu loads just as fast for me in game as the old one did. Un snapping apps if you don't have the kinect is a major pain now too
I heard preview can be awesome at time. Then I hear horror stories like this. Party chat is already a POS! How can they make it even worse? It already doesnt work half the time!
I never knew about the shortcut up n down using triggers... That will make things a bit more barable

I don't like the latest update...the new dashboard is sluggish and I had lots of foreign characters all over the place for a while. Also...my NAT is now permanently on Strict which it never was before.
That said...thid is the reason we joined the preview program right? To test and report bugs.

I had a friend of mine oversees who backed out because he couldn't bare with it but yes being a programmer or tester per say is a daunting task.

I actually prefer the old one...but then they're all about aligning everything to Windows 10. If the new dash actually improved things dramatically then my opinion may be different but so far everything takes just as long as it used to and some of it is just a pain in the ass.Originally Posted by CAG Wardaddy
Windows 10 is pretty good and I love being able to play my xbox thru my PC. But dang...this new dash needs some major work!
