So I write a lot but making music on a computer is something I haven't been able to figure out yet. Music is a big passion of mine and was just wondering if anyone knows how to and could help me out a bit.

I am currently trying to wrap my head around reaper music studio.
It is a fully functioning DAW and supports VST's but it is confusing compared to like Acid music, which is more of a drag and drop software.
Since i am legitimately trying to see if my musical talent can be enpugh to produce a career, i cant use any pirated softwares to create it so since i cant afford the price tag on acid music, means i will have to figure out how to use reaper.
O btw reaper is like i mentioned a fully functioning trial, no part of the software is locked. The best part is actually in their EULA, where they state that they sont beleive in policing electronic licenses meaning after 60 days the software still works fully.
So i figure use it ad long as i need to, and when i am ready to show the world something i produced with reaper i will pay the 60$ license fee then.
