Ok, so I'm into this band called Nothing More... they sound fucking amazing. They're extremely anti-establishment, but for a good reason. They point all that's wrong with society, big corporations, and the government... in a tasteful way.
"This is the time (ballast)"
Holding grudges only makes people bitter.
"Jenny"
This one's actually my favorite. The song is dedicated to the awareness of drug abuse and suicide prevention.
The band came out almost a year after this song was released with an explanation of what it meant, both literally and figuratively... as well as personally for the singer. Saucy sauce can be found HERE
"MR. MTV"
Sampling the great Sting from the Police, this song talks about how immersed we are in technology, and how we need to break free.
"Christ Copyright"
This one's a favorite of mine too... it pretty much accuses big corporations, politicians, and religion of brainwashing us...
Here's a legit example of how they're kind of right
"I'll be ok"
This song talks about how those with the most broken of hearts and emotions can be loved and love again... if only they're patient. The song seems to be from the side of someone begging to be let in by someone that's hurt.
"If I were"
This one... OMG THIS ONE...
The singer talks about trying to save his loved one from death...
If YOU were God for a day... would you use that power to save a single loved one's life? I would probably guilty of the same.
"Sex & Lies"
Like songs about cheating whores? Instead of going full angry and metal, these guys took a pretty neat approach to it.
"The Matthew Effect"
Spoiled child? Yeah they're pretty much little dickheads. These guys call 'em out.
This is another of my favs by this band.
"Salem"
BURN THE WITCH!!!
Any fans of "The Wizard of Oz" here? Watch this till the end.
Figured I'd share in case some of you are into this type of music and haven't heard of these guys yet.
