POW/MIA Day And a Day I Will Also Never Forget.

Let us remember our fallen, Prisoners of War and Missing in Action Brothers. Today for POW/MIA Day.
Today as a Commander of an American Legion I presented a Proclamation to the Mayor of our Posts town. To be signed and posted in the local Paper. For remberance of POW/MIA Day.
Also today will always be a day I will never forget. Crossing those Yellow Foot Prints at Paris Island and becoming one of the few, the proud. A Marine.

Very nice I remember a couple family members that were POWs in Vietnam some of their stories of what happened are terrible and hope no one ever has to go through that in the future.

I remember those of my brothers who are POWs, MIA, KIA. For those who were WIA I stand tall with them. I've set up a group of Battle Buddies from my old units and we constantly keep in touch with each other. We've only got each other and I don't see why any veteran has to face his/her demons alone, we've been to Hell and survived, Civilian life should be a piece of cake.
