Personally what id do is go with what you have listed Lazarus and save that money as theres so many games dropping end of this year and early next year.

Games like -

Gears (what you mentioned)

Rainbow 6 Siege (you'll se a lot of clan members playing this)

The Division

Black ops 3 (you already mentioned but this I would say is a must have as a lot of our CoD enthuses will be hitting this hard

Battlefront (Star wars Fps)

Battlefield 5 (as of yet a dates to be confirmed on this)

Homefront (Fps,dates to be confirmed but I know they got this in the pipeline.i played the first homefront and would highly recommend it.)

As you can see man a shit ton of games😉

On a clan basis id suggest black ops 3 as your transition to xbox will be a good one as CAG has a great bunch of guys that play the CoD series.
Anything else is really personal preference buddy,id suggest before each game drops watch a few streams on twitch of the games listed as theres nothing worse than going out and spending release price money on a game and finding out you don't like it.
Out of that list il be aiming to get all of them apart from Rainbow 6 Siege (il wait to see if the makers dont fuck up the seriousness with the gameplay surrounding single life spawns and hope they make it intense).

Like I said man,watch some footage when it leaks and see what your liable to like.

The first MP game I played was Halo on Xbox in Iraq....it wasn't online but we would have LAN connections to fill the lobby and go at it, I got so good no one would play with me.....especially in 08-09. But when I got back in 09 I got a live account and started playing Halo online and then COD. Once I played COD online I played several of the games before the release of Halo 4, which I pre2ordered and was SOO EXCITED ABOUT, buuuuuut it was so slow next to COD. It takes forever to get around the maps and I quit playing a few days after getting it and went back to COD. I hear Halo 5 is supposed to be all about keeping pace with the speed, competitiveness of COD but like JB said I would wait for the Beta,mtrailers, feedback to hit before getting your hopes up. We all know that BO3 will be quick competitive and similar to both COD and Black Ops already out.....just with some different weapons, stories, and enough new things to keep people happy. So we will see on Halo 5, but between Twitch TV and gaming outlets, it is too easy to watch released games before buying.

I never used Windows 10. I have use 7 but not 10. But I have a Ubuntu laptop, my Ps3 and phone to watch videos on
