I think that have two week to complete your marksman challenges is more than enough time,but I think you should have to wait until the 2 week point to get in the clan if you complete your marksman stuff. say you complete your marksman on day 6 you should have to wait 8 more days to join.

The waiting period is to weed out the people who don't want to really be part of the clan if you like it here then two weeks shouldn't be a problem and it use to be 30 days so two weeks isn't really that bad

Couldn't agree more with Bob here,two weeks isn't really that bad if anyone that comes to CAG as a recruit actually reads up on,understands and wants to essentially be a part of what CAG is.
I recently had a recruit wait longer than two weeks due to the fact that he organised a holiday trip before finding CAG.
He ended up waiting over two weeks and was still happy to put work in and show that he wanted to be part of what we are.

The 2 week wait is a valuable tool imo. some games have marksman requirements that take longer than others to complete. keeping it as a 2 week period makes the process fair for all

it also helps to practice a little patience. those willing to wait are more often the ones who make the biggest contributions to the clan, even more so the ones who are active on the forums in that time - rushing members through into full member status who may not really be that committed hurts us more than it would help us at the risk of them not being willing to wait

when i first joined it was a 4 week wait. it seemed to drag on forever but i stuck around

like herpes :S
