I don't think any competitive teams play clan wars. They play more ranked play if anything other than scrims. We did face pwnstarz one time, unfortunately technical errors came up in that one and our wins weren't counting.

FaZe and Optic couldn't beat most clans due to all the game rules from MLG that they play under. All the restrictions that they have for MLG events do more harm than good. CAG's best which are plenty could beat them in regular public match games. Would FaZe and Optic even accept a challenge from clans? I really doubt it ...

Who here actually watches these guys play on Twitch and other events? Like OpTic, FaZe, or Fariko, Denial, etc? I happened to stumble on the 5K today and they are no joke to take on in a match.

I actually know Infamous on a face to face basis... hes cool shit!!! but just thought i would pop in after stumbling on this thread lol. Yea if you watch MLG gaming squads and pay attention to the fine details of their playing styles you can see how and why a normal hardcore non MLG clan would tear them appart. Its a play style that eventually gets hardwired into them and is almost impossible for them to play any other way. which is all great cause they can make mad money by winning but its really only useful in an MLG rules match.

The actual clans of faze and optic do accept scrims. I have played against optic before. But you won't every play against the MLG guys. They are like CAG in a sense. Optic is a clan but has different levels/divisions. Those guys you want on the MLG events are strictly their A rank competitive squad. I have a friend who played on their C team. Best way to think of it is like major league baseball. A is the majors, b and C is the farm teams
