For bear yeah, but up here you have to get a special now license that is a test to make sure you can actually hit animals ethically. It's not hard to pass, anyone who knows how to use one is fine. Army guys train a week and get it. Once you go up north for caribou there is no machine use and you have to walk FIVE MILES before shooting....or step out of the truck and bow hunt (they are all over the road and beside it) and the close in easy moose hunts are bow too. I just wouldn't want to get into now range of a grizzly.
