I totally agree! Add to that the fact that the world is more concerned about trivial things than items of our heritage! I mean in all seriousness have we really forgotten what our country was founded on? Sure the English murdered Native Americans, oppressed their people, and robbed them of land that was rightfully theirs. BUT the basic ideas, principals, and thoughts were good. There will always be bigots, hypocrisy, and hate! BUT have we become so weak to not diminishing it as human nature? Why are we crying about EVERY little thing on the news? Why are we expecting others to bend to our way of thinking? WHY are we so damned BUTT HURT over every little thing? Eh not really. In all honesty the amendments need amending. Few are applicable to the modernization of society. The right to bear arms meant to defend your home from British invaders cause, let's face it, the country was at war. And invaded. By people trying to kill colonials. Now that amendment is used out of context in arguments like "I have the right to have 500 guns cause the second amendment says so"... Really? Who needs more than 3-4 guns in a house. When's the last time this country had foreign invaders? It's all crazy dude. This country is fucked. 99% of people can't agree that neither a democrat or republican gives a fuck about you. None of any of the past 30 probably more years presidential candidates lived paycheck to paycheck their whole lives debating if they would get groceries or medication this month. But everyone is too busy worrying about ohhh Christian or Muslim... Pro life or pro choice... Democrat or republican... Gun control vs gun owners rights.... Why did Obama put a basketball hoop in the White House and is he really from America. Distracted by what the media presents us to keep us divided and arguing so we don't see the truth and what is really going on.
