Me too good sir! I have a scope with remote but no bloody room to put it at the moment til I move next year. I could go on the roof (I live in a block on the beach here) but it has no railings so maybe no the best idea.

But yes...zooming out on the galaxy map is just mind blowing. I read that someone actually made it to the middle...took them two weeks of solid play...and then they had to make the return trip!

I'm currently in Kremainn(sp?) pewing pirates and such in High Intensity RESs...near the Wohler Terminal. I know it's probably quite a popular place but I'm building up the bank balance so I can get a proper exploring ship and then go see some sights.

Yes mate...the training is pants really. You can learn a lot more on YouTube. Lots of different tutorials and play lists to help you out.

There's a shit tonne of game mechanics that the game doesn't teach you about from the off.

There are 400 billion star systems in the game all mapped accurately within the Milky Way Galaxy. The distances between the stars, planets and moons are to scale as well e.g. if you traveled at the speed of light from the Sun to Earth it would take 8 mins in game. However due to the distances between the starts and their systems you can travel faster than light to get between Stars and their systems, planets and stations. To travel between Stars themselves you go into Hyperdrive to travel Light years.

Just been browsing the Galaxy map and found our Sun in the Sol system wanted to go there but you have to have a permit. Atm I'm in a HRES and have got loads of kills killing all the wanted ships and getting cr so will stay there for awhile. I am using sidewinder with tracking pulse laser and the Feds are helping me as well which is good. This game is awesome!

Does progression from the game preview carry over to the full game and will you have to purchase it again when it's the full game like you do on steam?

No, if you purchase now you get it outright, don't know about your progression being wiped.

My understanding is everything resets for the full release. This will cover any changes that may occur. You keep all money earned tho so not all is lost.
