Yes bf4 does have it but I do not like any of the color schemes.

They will say this "We have listened to our customers, the idea of having different colors for the squad mates will be implemented next year" next year comes and it's not implemented the way we wanted it to be but they did it their own way which still serves no purpose. Then the year after they will announce a new feature called "squad mate designation and distinction" that will help you find your squad mates much faster !!!
